POSITION:                  Senior Project Manager

COMPENSATION:        $80,000 to $100,000

LOCATION:                 Reston, VA

SCOPE OF WORK:

BINNACLE Consulting Group is seeking for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing teams, coordinating delivery schedules, and meeting deadlines while maintaining a positive atmosphere under pressure and changing environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage the project delivery from one or more cross-functional teams
- Independently determine and develop approach to solutions
- Maintain project plans
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain schedules and status reports
- Ensure that project deliverables are on time and within budget
- Meet required level of quality
- Lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
- Coordinate meetings
- Collaborate with other project managers
- Communicate effectively, clearly, and concisely in verbal and written forms
- Interact with senior staff requiring coordination across organizational lines
 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 to 7 years of overall related experience
- 3 to 4 years of Project Management experience
- Strong project management skills
- PMP certification preferred
- Six Sigma knowledge and/or certification
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS-Office (including Visio, Project, SharePoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-directed capable of managing multiple priorities
- Efficient in proposing solutions
- Ability to distill core themes in complex/technical discussions
- Succinctly summarize information
- Comfortable with ambiguity while staying calm under pressure
- Build trust and strong partnerships through own and team's actions
- Be accountable for strong individual and team performance
- Actively support culture change initiatives
